These songs I remember and love for a variety of different reasons - many of them to do with to many vodkas as a young man in melbournes thriving 90s club scene.
I remember seeing asement jaxx live at the Melbourne big day out and Wheres your head at tore the roof off the massive circus tent - there were literally people hanging off poles going bananas.
Walking into clubs like the Chevron, Metro, Warehouse, Chasers in the early 90s and being hit by walls of great dance music that I had never heard before was a liberating experience. I remeber clearly walking into the Chevron one saturday night into a wall of noise with Insanity by Oceanic peeling the paint off the walls it was an assualt on the senses I never forgot.
